It is a kind of odd thing to think that how can a country’s border need security, but when it comes to India it becomes a fact. Time has proven it again and again that Indian border is weak and can be invaded easily.

We still can’t forget Kargil where our part of the border was occupied by the Pakistanis and it led to so many tragic incidents. Moreover, it is happening at a random basis now, where terrorists from Nepal, Bangladesh are making their way into the sub-continent and creating law and order problems, the latest being Assam blast where the suspects are believed to be from Bangladesh.

All this certainly points out to one thing and that is lack of proper security in India’s pride, its border. Some thing has to be done about such tragic incidents or else we will witness terrorism rising to a new height in our country.

It is laudable that as a secular country we welcome people from other countries and treat them equally as ours, but then again their proper entrance to India is needed, with Passport and Visa. Illegal entries is the cause of terrorism activities in India and it has to be looked into by the intelligence agency. If such illegal border crossing continues than maybe someday we will be walking above mines...
